An Update from Pastor Tim:
At least it’s not THIS bad in Fort Worth today!
It’s Sunday morning, and panic has ensued in the metroplex.
It was cold-ish yesterday, but today, the weatherman is forecasting some not-so-pleasant alerts. So, I hit the roads this morning in downtown Fort Worth on foot and in my car, only to discover there is no ice on the pavement. I also tried sliding on the 7th Street Bridge, only to be disappointed that my state of panic was in vain.
The latest forecast states the temperature will not reach freezing until maybe 5:00 PM tonight.
Thus, our 11:00 AM worship gathering at City Life Center is MOVING FORWARD as scheduled.
Today is a very special day, as we will:
– Experience Corporate Communion
– Hear a message entitled, The Pain of Rejection
– Enjoy our annual “Feast With Friends” lunch event
– Celebrate Water Baptism with our Indoor Plunge Party
Pastor Tim could barely get into his car this morning. Just kidding!
