“The last two years in my life have been very difficult because of circumstances I couldn’t really control. I just fell apart in a sense. I knew I needed to make a change, and City Life was where the change started. Since then, coming here, getting connected to great people, getting connected to Tim, and being a part of making Jesus known, all of this has been a part of my restoration.
I’ve had limiting labels placed on me throughout different times in my life, especially growing up, I think we all go through that. But I didn’t ever realize that I had accepted and believed a lot of those labels. Jesus restored me by telling me my true identity, and letting me know who I am in Him. He has built me up and I feel free, now more than ever. Jesus just loving me, that’s where the restoration has really taken place.”
