“The first Sunday I was at City Life, the sermon was on Freedom in Jesus. It was a concept I had never fully grasped because of the judgmental atmosphere of the places I had been before. When I got here and finally saw how real freedom is, I was like, “YES! This is what I have been looking for!” I am still overcoming labels that I place on myself like, “I don’t fit in”. When I am struggling with these labels I have to realize that this is my sin, something negative that I am letting into my life, and I have to choose to overcome it and get rid of it.
