Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price has mentioned the need for a prayer vigil concerning the Ebola outbreak, and City Life Center is joining in this call to prayer.
I would like to invite you and others in the our area to participate with me in praying over our city, state, nation, victims and families of those infected, healthcare workers and first responders.
This is an opportunity to demonstrate the unity of our faith community and our resolve to stand as one in times of crisis.
Mayor Price and Police Chief Halstead will be attending, as well as other key leaders in the community. Please invite your friends, neighbors and congregations to join us for a special time of united prayer.
I have also been requested to lead in prayer at this event. I hope you’ll join me. I believe this prayer gathering is very significant.
