An Update from Pastor Tim
One of the BEST ways to put feet to your faith is to serve your city. MY city is Fort Worth, and I love to serve this city.
Here’s my CALL TO ACTION to my City Life friends and family:
I’d like for you to help me clean up some areas in the Stop Six neighborhood in SE Fort Worth on Saturday morning, October 25.
This is the first call to action from Compassionate Fort Worth, which will help demonstrate to Mayor Betsy, our City Council and the people of Fort Worth that followers of Christ are not about mere talk, but we are people of HANDS-ON ACTION.
Let’s be a BLESSING to our city! Let’s make Fort Worth a better place to enjoy, live, do business, worship, and raise a family.
The event (open to all ages) will begin at 8:30 AM at Eugene McCray Park (3449 Quail Road) at Lake Arlington with City Councilwoman Gyna Bivens. There, we will receive gloves and T-Shirts.
We will then disperse into various groups and return to the Park by 11:30 AM, where we will hear from Fort Worth Mayor, Betsy Price. You will be home by Noon.
Register yourself, your office and your family now. I will be there!
